What you will do

• Define and own the enterprise AI Governance Strategy and framework.
• Ensure compliance with global AI regulations, including the EU AI Act, FCA, and PRA expectations.
• Oversee the identification and mitigation of AI-related risks, including bias, privacy, and model robustness.
• Design and lead AI governance forums to ensure clear accountability and proportionate oversight.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across Technology, Legal, and Risk functions.
• Build and lead a high-performing team dedicated to responsible AI implementation.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in risk, compliance, or governance within financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of UK and EU financial services regulation relevant to AI.
• Proven track record of implementing governance or control frameworks at enterprise scale.
• Strong executive stakeholder engagement and influence skills.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory or technical topics into clear, pragmatic guidance.
• Graduate degree in any discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience operationalizing AI regulatory requirements such as the EU AI Act.
• Experience managing third-party AI risk.
