What you will do
- Define and own the enterprise AI Governance Strategy and framework.
- Ensure compliance with global AI regulations, including the EU AI Act, FCA, and PRA expectations.
- Oversee the identification and mitigation of AI-related risks, including bias, privacy, and model robustness.
- Design and lead AI governance forums to ensure clear accountability and proportionate oversight.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across Technology, Legal, and Risk functions.
- Build and lead a high-performing team dedicated to responsible AI implementation.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in risk, compliance, or governance within financial services.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and EU financial services regulation relevant to AI.
- Proven track record of implementing governance or control frameworks at enterprise scale.
- Strong executive stakeholder engagement and influence skills.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory or technical topics into clear, pragmatic guidance.
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience operationalizing AI regulatory requirements such as the EU AI Act.
- Experience managing third-party AI risk.
