What you will do
- Provide onsite supervision of jobs and oversee daily crew tasks under the Operations Manager.
- Conduct preplanning by reviewing job parameters and specifics with appropriate personnel.
- Instruct crews on job procedures, rig-up assignments, routes to locations, monitoring safety/communication equipment, and special conditions.
- Coordinate with customers before, during, and after service; run required safety meetings.
- Inspect completed work against SOPs, prepare reports and schedules, and oversee equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
- Support incident response and investigations as needed; communicate with Engineering, Operations, HSE, and vendors.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of leadership experience in a related field; 3–5+ years of related experience, preferably in oil and gas service rental, electrically or mechanically focused.
- High school diploma, skilled labor certificate, or equivalent.
- Ability to work a rotational schedule with long and occasionally irregular hours; be on call for both shifts while on rotation.
- Willingness to work in exposure to extreme temperatures, wind, precipitation, and at heights; ability to lift 50 pounds up to 10 times per shift.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to operate a company vehicle safely and maintain a clean driving record.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; mechanical aptitude and ability to self-supervise daily tasks and metrics.
