What you will do

• Support commissioning of natural gas generators, switchgear, substations, transformers, and balance of plant equipment.
• Perform functional testing, loop checks, energization, synchronization, and system validation.
• Assist in the startup and integration of generation assets into microgrid and SCADA systems.
• Install and commission synchronous condensers (electrical and mechanical).
• Troubleshoot issues during commissioning and document results and punch list items.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, engineers, and OEM vendors during startup activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in commissioning, construction, or maintenance of power generation or utility-scale electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, one-lines, and technical documents.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience with switchgear, substations, transformers, or generators.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols, including LOTO and site-specific requirements.

Nice to have

• Exposure to natural gas generators, rotating equipment, or synchronous condensers.
• Experience with MV/HV systems, protective relays, or SCADA.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on field execution experience.
