What you will do

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of plant electrical equipment such as switchgear, exciters, and control systems.
• Support the Lead Electrician with inventory management, documentation, and resource identification.
• Maintain the Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) in full compliance with protocols.
• Instruct and direct activities of other employees and assist contractors.
• Ensure all work areas are kept safe, neat, and well-organized.
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems for work tracking.

Requirements

• Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician’s License required.
• High school Diploma or GED plus 2 years of trade or technical school training in electricity.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or power plant electrical environment.
• Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.
• Must be a member of UWUA Local 369 Union.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
