What you will do

• Lead a high-autonomy team of 4-5 engineers in a 50/50 player-coach capacity.
• Own the technical vision and architectural decisions for the product domain.
• Mentor engineers, handle performance reviews, career coaching, and salary negotiations.
• Implement agentic coding workflows using AI agents to build complex systems at high speed.
• Collaborate with a Product Manager in a dual-leadership model to align technical delivery with user value.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience in people management.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular/TypeScript.
• Ability to audit and guide AI-generated architectures to ensure code quality.
• Expertise in async communication and managing teams across different time zones.
• AI-first mindset with experience using AI agents for development.
