Production Planner (Automotive)

What you will do

• Coordinate production scheduling to ensure customer requirements are met regarding timing, quantity, and quality.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels (Days on Hand - DOH) and ensure FIFO compliance.
• Supervise accurate production scheduling in SAP MF50 following company guidelines.
• Maintain high adherence to production schedules (≥95%) and minimize backlogs for OEM and OES products.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Planning, New Launch, and Engineering teams for demand planning.
• Ensure compliance with hirify.global Production System (MPS) and MMOG/LE audit requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in production planning within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in SAP (MM and PP modules required; SD preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills, including macros and pivot tables.
• Experience in production scheduling, sequencing, and inventory management (DOH, FIFO, Kanban).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico.
