What you will do

• Support all stages of the acquisition process, including NDAs, due diligence, and negotiating definitive transaction documents.
• Collaborate with the M&A team to develop APAC-specific deal playbooks and scalable acquisition processes.
• Advise on the integration of newly acquired companies, including transitional services and policy alignment.
• Serve as a General Counsel advisor to APAC headquarters and operating companies on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Manage contract reviews, insurance matters, HR/employment issues, and dispute resolution.
• Develop internal policies and risk mitigation strategies aligned with local laws.

Requirements

• Degree in Law and registered to practice law in Australia.
• Significant PQE from a reputable law firm with a proven track record in M&A transactions.
• In-house commercial experience within a private company or fast-growth environment.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, particularly for M&A documents.
• Ability to operate as a trusted legal partner in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.
