What you will do

• Collaborate with ML Scientists to scale and productize ML models from experimentation to robust production systems.
• Design, build, and own large-scale distributed machine learning systems for training, deployment, and inference.
• Lead architecture reviews and drive high-impact engineering decisions for ML platforms and applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and peers on system design, code quality, and ML engineering best practices.
• Develop reusable components and libraries to accelerate the ML development lifecycle.
• Ensure scalability, observability, and fault-tolerance across all components of the ML stack.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA (San Jose or Seattle).
• 8+ years of experience in software/ML engineering with a track record of delivering scalable ML solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Deep expertise in MLOps, including model lifecycle management, versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD.
• Experience with big data ecosystems (Spark, Hive, Databricks, Delta Lake) and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (Flyte, Airflow, Kubeflow).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GenAI, NLP, deep learning, and recommendation systems.
• Experience designing multi-agent architectures for autonomous collaboration and decision-making.
• Understanding of agent planning, memory, and self-reflection mechanisms.
• Experience with automated testing across unit, integration, and functional layers.
