What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs for thick client desktop applications.
• Architect service-layer logic for validation, analytics, and business rule enforcement.
• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, concurrency, and efficient resource utilization.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling mechanisms.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to support containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

Requirements

• Secret Clearance (Must have to start)
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with a strong backend focus.
• Expertise in one or more: Java/Spring, Python (FastAPI/Django), C#/.NET, or Node.js.
• Strong experience in RESTful API design and relational/NoSQL database schema tuning.
• Experience with structured data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and client-server architectures.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating with Electron-based desktop applications.
• Familiarity with inter-process communication models and secure messaging patterns.
• Experience with large file processing, streaming data, or batch analytics.
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and security scanning tools.
• Experience operating in restricted, air-gapped, or regulated environments.
