What you will do

  • Build end-to-end product experiences encompassing frontend applications, backend services, agent workflows, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Design AI-powered workflows that generalize across various engineering teams, languages, and codebases.
  • Implement novel applications of AI to remove friction across the entire SDLC.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and research teams to translate user insights into shipped product improvements.
  • Engage directly with users—including open-source contributors and large enterprises—to validate solutions.
  • Enhance the reliability, observability, scalability, and performance of developed systems.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Rust, or a similar systems/application programming language.
  • Deep familiarity with modern software development tools, workflows, and engineering practices.
  • Intuition for the strengths and weaknesses of AI-assisted development tools.
  • Strong product judgment and a bias toward iterating based on real user feedback.
  • Ability to work from San Francisco or Seattle.
