What you will do
- Develop and implement project proposals, protocols, work plans, and timelines for multi-site research projects.
- Oversee the operationalization of the MOSAIC Study, including participant recruitment, retention, and biological specimen collection.
- Manage Research Ethics Board (REB) applications, amendments, and ensure strict regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate health data access and transfer agreements with the BC Ministry of Health, Genome BC, and other regional authorities.
- Handle long-term budget development, expenditure oversight, and preparation of grant applications.
- Supervise and coach volunteers, students, and research staff.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of three years of related experience in research management or project coordination.
- Proven ability to manage REB applications and adhere to ethical standards.
- Proficiency with REDCap, EDC, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be able to work onsite at the Vancouver, BC campus.
Nice to have
- Experience leading national or multi-site research projects.
- Knowledge of Indigenous-specific anti-racism and cultural safety.
- Experience with specimen collection, handling, and storage procedures in clinical research.
- Proven success in publishing scholarly materials and conducting data analysis.
