TL;DR

Salary: $6,747.50 - $9,701.42 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Develop and implement project proposals, protocols, work plans, and timelines for multi-site research projects.
  • Oversee the operationalization of the MOSAIC Study, including participant recruitment, retention, and biological specimen collection.
  • Manage Research Ethics Board (REB) applications, amendments, and ensure strict regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate health data access and transfer agreements with the BC Ministry of Health, Genome BC, and other regional authorities.
  • Handle long-term budget development, expenditure oversight, and preparation of grant applications.
  • Supervise and coach volunteers, students, and research staff.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience in research management or project coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage REB applications and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Proficiency with REDCap, EDC, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be able to work onsite at the Vancouver, BC campus.

Nice to have

  • Experience leading national or multi-site research projects.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous-specific anti-racism and cultural safety.
  • Experience with specimen collection, handling, and storage procedures in clinical research.
  • Proven success in publishing scholarly materials and conducting data analysis.
