What you will do

• Conduct research and gather breaking news information for anchors during live broadcasts.
• Coordinate guest logistics, including scheduling, travel, and the creation of guest one-sheets.
• Manage digital content publishing and social media curation using WordPress-based platforms.
• Produce original studio videos and manage automated content feeds from YouTube and MS NOW.
• Coordinate on-air graphic elements and perform photo research in collaboration with producers.
• Handle administrative support, including calendar management and expense report processing.

Requirements

• At least one year of news production experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency with WordPress content management and web-based interfaces.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news scenarios.

Nice to have

• Excellent knowledge of politics, history, and current events.
• Experience with Avid/Interplay and iNews.
• Proficiency with video editing software.
• Understanding of SEO/AIO best practices.
