TL;DR
Senior Software Developer (.NET) (Legaltech): Building and extending tailored enterprise solutions on the Operate platform for the world's largest law firms with an accent on full-stack development and custom integrations. Focus on designing scalable workflow components, optimizing SQL performance, and implementing complex legal work management engines.
Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Ontario (minimum 2 days per week in office)
Salary: $144,700 – $195,900 CAD

What you will do
- Develop and extend solutions on the Operate/ShareDo platform for top 100 law firms worldwide.
- Design and implement custom integrations, workflow components, and UI elements.
- Work across the full stack using C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with analysts and engineers to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements and present technical solutions.
- Improve internal delivery efficiency by contributing to playbooks and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven track record in software development, preferably with large-scale SaaS platforms.
- Strong proficiency in C# (.NET) and SQL Server, including query optimization.
- Experience with frontend technologies: JavaScript (Vue, React, or vanilla), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with complex domains and performance-critical systems.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Toronto hub (Hybrid)
Nice to have
- Deep knowledge of .NET CLR internals or advanced SQL tuning.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, event sourcing, or data streaming.
- Familiarity with Elastic, Kurrent, Azure, or Pulumi.
- Keen interest in applying AI to improve software development.
