What you will do

• Conduct SI/PI analysis and optimization for 2D/2.5D/3D package designs.
• Interface with product design, physical design, and IP teams to improve electrical performance and power delivery network design.
• Execute simulation tasks for signal and power integrity sign-off.
• Run wiring studies to determine optimal signal routing, power delivery verification, and package size.
• Document analysis results and present findings in cross-functional meetings and design reviews.
• Own assigned tasks end-to-end and adjust approach to meet design goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related) with 5+ years in package or PCB design, or a master’s and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering with coursework in signal integrity and power delivery and 3–5 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity and power integrity fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with simulation and analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, and Cadence Sigrity.
• Working knowledge of circuit extraction and simulation techniques.
• Experience evaluating package/PCB designs against challenging electrical requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly through documentation and presentations.
