Head of AI (Engineering & Product): Leading the entire Artificial Intelligence organization to drive innovation across technical platforms and consumer-facing product experiences with an accent on on-device intelligence and edge AI. Focus on building foundational AI capabilities for hardware and cloud, defining product roadmaps, and scaling a multi-disciplinary team to advance home security technology.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Boston, MA (Hybrid: 3 days in office).

What you will do

• Partner with the executive team to define and execute the company-wide AI strategy across platform, infrastructure, and product.
• Own the AI product roadmap in collaboration with Product Management to ship AI-driven features for apps and devices.
• Drive platform requirements for AI/ML/CV capabilities, specifically focusing on constrained hardware and on-device inference.
• Manage the AI organization's budget, resource allocation, and technical standards.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and applied scientists.
• Stay at the forefront of research in computer vision, generative AI, and embedded ML to translate advancements into product opportunities.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in AI/ML, computer vision, or related fields.
• Proven track record of shipping AI-powered consumer products.
• Deep hands-on experience with edge and on-device AI on constrained hardware (cameras, IoT).
• Strong expertise in computer vision techniques (object detection, segmentation, tracking).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale high-performing, multi-disciplinary organizations.
• Experience working with global teams and products manufactured outside the US.
