What you will do

• Develop scalable, performant, and reliable data pipelines to produce 3D map products.
• Manage and process petabytes of large-scale spatial datasets for centimeter-accurate mapping.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across I/O, CPU, GPU, memory transfer, and distributed compute.
• Apply 3D geometry and matrix operations to mapping pipeline development.
• Build and maintain integrated systems using C++ and Python with tools like pybind11.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience building production software systems, data pipelines, or large-scale automation.
• Strong C++ programming skills, including deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Ability to analyze and optimize hardware performance bottlenecks (IO, CPU, GPU, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of 3D geometry and matrix operations.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python and experience with pybind11.
• Experience with distributed systems, job orchestration, infrastructure observability, and Docker.
• Background in meshing algorithms or 3D asset generation.
