Salary: $150,000 - $205,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Own features end-to-end from design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Develop new functionality using agile Scrum processes and contribute to technical design.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues and defects.
• Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests to ensure quality and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure consistency.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering practices and developer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and working knowledge of at least one additional compiled language.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL databases, data modeling, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Proficiency with Git workflows and collaborative development.
