TL;DR

Senior Designer (Interactive): Developing breakthrough creative concepts and visual solutions for interactive platforms and web-based marketing initiatives with an accent on user experience and brand principles. Focus on crafting story-driven campaigns, building high-fidelity prototypes, and collaborating across creative and technical disciplines.

Location: Full-time onsite in Calgary, Canada (5 days per week)

What you will do

  • Develop visual concepts and interface solutions for web-based marketing initiatives and product launches.
  • Create mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids, and animated GIFs.
  • Craft story-driven campaigns across multiple mediums to elevate the brand.
  • Build simple prototypes to convey motion, behavior, and preferred states for interactive concepts.
  • Collaborate with Art Directors, technical teams, and clients to iterate on design layouts.
  • Distill complex requirements into clear, elegant, and focused visual messaging.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant interactive design experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Sketch and Photoshop.
  • Strong mastery of formal design elements: typography, layout, balance, hierarchy, and proportion.
  • Solid understanding of front-end web and mobile development, including HTML, CSS, and iOS.
  • Must be based in Calgary for full-time onsite work (5 days per week presence required).
  • Proven ability to deliver high-volume quality design within tight timeframes.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of After Effects, QuickTime, Director, and ImageReady.
