What you will do
- Collaborate with product and design teams to conceptualize and develop extraordinary player experiences.
- Create user flows, interface wireframes, prototypes, and comprehensive design documentation.
- Perform user research, market competitor deconstructions, and heuristic evaluations.
- Design functional animations for user interactions and define thematic art styles with the art team.
- Partner with technical artists and engineers to ensure seamless implementation in the game engine.
- Establish UI/UX standard methodologies and lead company-wide design critiques and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in the game development industry specializing in UX/UI.
- Proven track record of working on at least 3 different game titles.
- Expertise in prototyping software and user interface layout design (hierarchy, color theory, information architecture).
- Deep knowledge of user psychology applied to game engagement and fun.
- Ability to utilize evolving AI tools and technologies in the design process.
