What you will do

• Monitor OT/ICS network traffic and system logs to detect and triage security threats.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities while coordinating remediation with engineering teams.
• Maintain detailed inventories of OT assets, network diagrams, and configurations.
• Support incident investigations, evidence collection, and forensic analysis.
• Collaborate with site operations, IT teams, and regulatory agencies to resolve security issues.
• Participate in rotational shiftwork to maintain 24/7 operational coverage.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Overland Park, KS
• High School Diploma required.
• Understanding of Purdue model network architecture and firewalls.
• Ability to complete pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
• Experience with PLC, RTU, or DCS components and protocols.
• Familiarity with OT-specific security tools like Dragos, Nozomi, or Claroty.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in IT and industrial or critical infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of NERC responsibilities and power plant systems.
• Experience with battery storage, solar, wind, or thermal generation assets.
