What you will do

• Investigate, triage, and respond to security alerts across multiple systems and environments.
• Monitor networks and high-value assets to detect potential threats.
• Analyze and prioritize security events based on severity, impact, and risk.
• Refine alert logic and tune rules to reduce false positives.
• Document incidents, response actions, and operational workflows.
• Partner with Engineering, IT, and Risk teams to coordinate remediation efforts.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in a SOC, threat detection, or cybersecurity role.
• Experience investigating and responding to security alerts in a production environment.
• Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, or similar security monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical skills for determining event severity and impact.
• Experience maintaining detailed incident investigation records.

Nice to have

• Experience with threat hunting and advanced incident response processes.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and common attack patterns.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, GSEC, BTL1, or SSCP.
