What you will do

• Lead system analysis and programming activities for critical banking services.
• Develop, test, and review high-quality code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and QA to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Own deliverables from initial scope definition through to production support.
• Contribute to product architecture and technical documentation.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure system security and performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years of backend development experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional Scala programming experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience deploying and supporting services in production.
• Must be based in the United States (excluding California).
• Must be available during 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Central Time.
• Ineligible for immigration sponsorship (H-1B, PERM).

Nice to have

• Experience with functional programming and the Typelevel Stack (cats, http4s, doobie).
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Go or Rust.
