Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Cambridge, MA, USA; this is not a remote role

What you will do

• Administer and troubleshoot lab-area workstations, edge compute, and dedicated lab-network infrastructure.
• Resolve Lab IT incidents and service requests through the enterprise ITSM platform.
• Provide IT-side support for laboratory instruments and automated platforms, including networking and configuration.
• Maintain and improve Lab IT asset records in the enterprise CMDB.
• Support OT network operations, including connectivity troubleshooting and segmentation drift checks.
• Document Lab IT standards, procedures, and runbooks to ensure scalability.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Associate's program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows administration and networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi).
• Familiarity with helpdesk or ITSM workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site at the Cambridge laboratory.

Nice to have

• Exposure to endpoint management (Intune, JAMF), identity/SSO (Okta, AD), or ITSM/CMDB platforms.
• Interest in life sciences, biotechnology, or laboratory environments.
• Knowledge of OT security frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82).
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications.
