What you will do

• Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and information.
• Identify system security requirements and design detailed cyber security architectures.
• Partner with engineering teams on internal and customer-facing security and privacy initiatives.
• Analyze security posture and identify vulnerabilities by conducting comprehensive security tests.
• Write detailed reports on assessment findings and propositions for system security enhancement.
• Report actual or suspected security and policy violations to appropriate authorities.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), anti-virus software, authentication systems, and log management.
• Experience with network security, networking technologies, and system/network monitoring tools.
• Thorough understanding of current security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
