Salary: $55 - $61.70 per hour

What you will do

• Perform Linux system administration including installation, hardening, scanning, and patching.
• Setup and maintain network equipment, primarily Cisco (LAN, NICs, Router configurations).
• Lead Information Assurance efforts and design cybersecurity solutions.
• Perform physical infrastructure tasks including cabling and rack/stack.
• Conduct project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and Residency required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Linux system administration for small/medium networks.
• Knowledge of vulnerability and compliance scanning and security patching specifically for the DoD.
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF), STIGs, and government security guidelines.
• Experience with Cisco equipment and network architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in a specialized area or equivalent relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Certifications: RHCSA, Network+, Security+, CISSP, CCNP, Server+, or Linux+.
