Salary: $160,000 - $240,000

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of guidance and navigation software using COTS software frameworks.
• Support clean-sheet airframe design activities and system integration on flight hardware.
• Develop real-time embedded software, including the integration of vendor-provided low-level drivers and firmware.
• Collaborate within an R&D team to expand capabilities across multiple product families.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in object-oriented software development.
• Experience with guidance algorithms for UAS platforms using frameworks like ArduPilot.
• Proficiency in software development for microcontroller architectures (STM32) and Linux on Nvidia Jetson or AMD/Xilinx SoC.
• Practical understanding of flight dynamics for fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms.
• U.S. Person status is required for access to U.S.-only data systems.

Nice to have

• Current or previous DoD security clearance.
• Part 107 remote pilot certification.
• Experience with EO/IR or radar sensor integration.
• Firmware development using VHDL and AMD/Xilinx FPGAs.
• Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD using modern FOSS/COTS toolsets.
