What you will do

• Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and retrofitting of all types of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Calibrate and adjust machinery while controlling work methods and technical parameters.
• Detect defective components and manufacture complex parts to maintain equipment functionality.
• Select appropriate materials and techniques based on identified technical problems.

Requirements

• Diploma of Vocational Studies in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent.
• Knowledge of advanced techniques including laser alignment, ultrasonic, and vibration analysis.
• Experience maintaining machining equipment, industrial pumps, gearboxes, and electric motors.
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards, especially WHMIS.
• Functional knowledge of French is required.
• Must successfully pass written and practical examinations.
• Must be members of the Union.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of machining and operation of CNC equipment.
