What you will do

• Perform QC sampling and testing of incoming materials, in-process blends, and finished products.
• Conduct colour matching and evaluation against internal and customer specifications.
• Support timely product release through accurate analysis and SAP record management.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis and investigate quality notifications or non-conformances.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and COSHH documentation.
• Support internal/external audits and site environmental monitoring.

Requirements

• Qualification in Chemistry, Colour Science, Materials Science, Food Science, or a related discipline.
• Previous laboratory experience in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or personal care manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and experience with quality documentation.
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Billericay, UK.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with colour pigments, dyes, powders, or concentrates.
• Experience using UV-Visible, Infra-Red, or Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometers.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar quality management systems.
• Understanding of GMP, GDP, HACCP, or ISO 9001 standards.
