Accountant

What you will do

• Manage balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and maintain financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Plan, administer, and recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
• Analyze financial records, documents, and reports to provide business and tax advice.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and audit findings for individuals and departments.
• Ensure accuracy and full compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and governing legislation.
• Develop financial plans and make recommendations regarding cash management, insurance, and investment planning.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain basic security clearance.
