What you will do

• Execute test cases precisely as written to validate UAS systems against internal and external requirements.
• Perform regression testing across software and hardware revisions.
• Document anomalies, defects, and test results using tools like Jira and TestRail.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve system failures.
• Assist in the implementation of automated testing procedures to improve efficiency.
• Maintain organized test artifacts including logs, videos, and images.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR/EAR export control regulations.
• 1+ years of experience in a related technical field.
• Ability to work onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah.
• Experience operating or supporting sUAS platforms in a structured environment.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows environments and basic embedded systems concepts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments as needed.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with PX4, Ardupilot, Mavlink, and QGroundControl.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with FAA regulations (Part 107, LAANC, Drone Zone).
• Exposure to automated test scripting.
