What you will do

• Conduct daily field testing, including regression and acceptance flights to validate real-world workflows.
• Define comprehensive test plans and acceptance criteria for new features and autonomous dock deployments.
• Implement and maintain automation suites using an AI-first approach to reduce manual testing.
• Manage regression strategy across Dock, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Track and analyze quality metrics, post-release bugs, and SLO violations to improve processes.
• Coordinate QA programs and maintain device/drone inventory and firmware tracking.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• Access to 10+ acres for daily drone operations.
• FAA Part 107 Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• 4+ years of QA experience specifically with hardware or mobile products.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript for scripting and automation.
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks (Appium, Espresso, or Detox) and test management tools like Qase and Jira.
• Active usage of AI tooling for test design, bug triage, and code resolution.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with robotics, geospatial systems, or autonomous flight systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of RTK/PPK workflows or embedded firmware.
• API and integration testing experience.
