What you will do

• Own the end-to-end network architecture strategy, translating business and product requirements into comprehensive GCP designs.
• Lead architectural decisions for VPC topology, Cloud Interconnect, load balancing, and service mesh strategies.
• Design and implement scalable Infrastructure as Code frameworks using Terraform across multiple regions and projects.
• Mentor the networking pod through complex design challenges, code reviews, and technical growth.
• Define and drive the observability strategy, including monitoring dashboards, alerting frameworks, and network SLOs.
• Lead incident response for critical network outages and implement systemic improvements based on post-mortems.

Requirements

• 8+ years in cloud or network engineering, with 4+ years at a principal or staff level owning strategy at scale.
• Expert-level mastery of GCP networking (VPC, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Router).
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, and DNS.
• Proficiency with Terraform at scale and building reusable infrastructure modules.
• Must be based in the United States of America.
