Salary: $136,300 – $231,700 per year

What you will do

• Transform market and customer requirements into detailed system configurations.
• Develop novel inspection solutions to enhance sensitivity and throughput through experimental design.
• Define system error budgets and translate system requirements into sub-module specifications.
• Collaborate with functional groups to ensure successful tool integration and product launch.
• Create and execute prototype test plans for entire systems and complex subsystems.
• Drive resolution of system issues at customer sites or within manufacturing.

Requirements

• PhD with 0 years experience, Master's with 3+ years, or Bachelor's with 5+ years of related work experience.
• Deep understanding of high-resolution optical design and high-speed sensor technology.
• Proficiency in advanced image/signal processing and statistical analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of simulation tools and methods.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Milpitas, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience in developing inspection or metrology systems.

• Project management skills including scoping, budgeting, and scheduling.
