Salary: $217,580 – $236,500

What you will do

• Research and consult on complex Global Indirect Tax (GIT) technical issues for diverse clients.
• Review documentation and computations for nexus studies, voluntary disclosure agreements, and taxability matrices.
• Prepare written tax advice and track developments in state and local jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with specialty groups on intersecting federal, international, and state/local tax matters.
• Support firm-wide and external training to enhance GIT knowledge for professionals and clients.
• Develop quality-driven tools to be utilized by the Firm for client service.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work in Chicago, IL.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• CPA or JD required; LLM in Taxation is preferred.
• At least six years of SALT consulting experience at a major public accounting or law firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
