GIS Analyst (Geospatial)

What you will do

• Maintain and update GIS data within the Navy SE Enterprise Spatial Database Engine (SDE).
• Coordinate with the Real Property Accountable Officer (RPAO) to reconcile discrepancies and support audit readiness.
• Create and manage standardized geospatial products, including symbology layers and map templates.
• Perform quality control throughout the entire map production lifecycle.
• Apply cartographic standards and best practices to installation-level map products.
• Support stakeholder requests and incorporate user feedback into GIS deliverables.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Minimum 5 years of professional GIS experience.
• Advanced proficiency with ArcGIS Desktop (10.x), ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Experience working in a versioned GIS environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, GIS, or a related field.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it.

Nice to have

• GIS Professional (GISP) certification.
• ESRI technical certifications.
• Experience in geospatial data governance or enterprise systems.
