What you will do

• Provide individual and group advising for incoming and outgoing international students regarding applications, admissions, and learning goals.
• Develop and implement recruitment and marketing strategies for international learning programs and special initiatives.
• Manage and maintain partnerships with post-secondary organizations and partner universities globally.
• Design and facilitate co-curricular workshops and orientation events to support student transitions.
• Review and redesign administrative processes to improve service delivery and system use.
• Collaborate with academic units and university project teams to enhance international engagement.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of one to two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work onsite at the hirify.global Okanagan Campus in Kelowna, BC.
• Demonstrated commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural sensitivity skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in post-secondary advising or other student services.
• Previous experience in an international setting or personal academic international learning experience.
• Experience communicating with a broad range of diverse stakeholders.
