What you will do

• Consult on complex ISD studies and projects, providing subject matter expertise, strategic guidance, and mentorship to instructional design teams.
• Run systematic instructional systems design processes to assess needs and develop training solutions for formal delivery.
• Manage instructional designers to produce curriculum and training products with measurable learning outcomes and intended user experiences.
• Refine and uphold curriculum and training standards using learning science best practices and established design principles.
• Evaluate and select instructional strategies, delivery modalities (ILT, eLearning, vILT, blended), and assessment methods.
• Serve as a quality reviewer for ISD deliverables, ensuring contract alignment, Section 508 accesshirify.global, and adult learning theory.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Instructional Systems Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in instructional systems design, curriculum development, or training program management.
• Demonstrated experience leading or managing teams of instructional designers in a government or complex organizational environment.
• Expert proficiency in instructional systems design models (ADDIE, SAM, Agile ISD) and adult learning theory.
• Experience developing and delivering multi-modal training solutions (ILT, eLearning, vILT, blended).
• Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools and LMSs; familiarity with Section 508 accesshirify.global requirements.
