What you will do

• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop efficient tools and applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and maintain robust RESTful API endpoints.
• Automate tasks through scripting and utilize monitoring tools to ensure system reliability.
• Perform validation and verification testing using a test-driven development (TDD) approach.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and performance.

Requirements

• Must reside within a commutable distance to Mississauga, Ontario.
• Proven experience writing clean, scalable code using Java and Spring Boot.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
• Solid experience building and maintaining RESTful API endpoints.
• Strong commitment to TDD and automated testing frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
• Proficiency in GIT and experience with performance monitoring tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with UI development (React, Angular).
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with Generative AI code assistants.
• Experience working on SaaS products.
