What you will do

• Set up electrical systems including wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical components to ensure functionality and safety.
• Read blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications to plan layouts.
• Utilize voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to test systems for proper operation.
• Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
• Upgrade electrical panels and wiring to support modern loads and energy-efficient systems.

Requirements

• New York State Licensed Journeyman Electrician required.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical work.
• High School Diploma or GED required (Associate Degree in Electrical Technology preferred).
• Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
• Must have valid US work authorization; sponsorship is not provided.
