What you will do

• Define and drive technical strategy for data engineering within Cloud & Platform Security.
• Architect end-to-end data platforms for security telemetry, risk analytics, and compliance reporting.
• Set engineering standards and best practices across data ingestion, transformation, storage, and access control.
• Own BAU vulnerability operations: triage, track routine patches, manage SLA tracking, and guide remediation with system owners.
• Develop deep operational expertise to mature/improve the platform, identify automation opportunities, and coordinate bug fixes and QA testing.
• Lead discovery and translate complex security/compliance requirements into scalable technical designs; mentor engineers through reviews and technical coaching.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software/data engineering, vulnerability management, or security operations/response.
• Experience in a technical lead or team leadership role.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong vulnerability management and vulnerability scanning tooling knowledge, including CVSS/EPSS/exploitability and patching ecosystems (cloud vs on-prem).
• Ability to translate complex business and security challenges into scalable technical solutions and actionable insights for end users.
• Ability to support zero-day response with a compressed response window (hours, including weekends/holidays) and participate in an on-call schedule aligned to time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience building security-focused or developer-facing platforms.
• Familiarity with vulnerability prioritization methodologies and security data (e.g., CVE, CVSS, EPSS).
• Experience in cloud/platform/application security or regulated environments.
• Experience with large-scale data engineering and cloud-native services.
