TL;DR

Accounting Advisory Senior Associate II (Finance): Consulting with clients on complex accounting transactions resulting from regulatory or strategic changes such as mergers and acquisitions with an accent on SEC reporting and divestiture solutions. Focus on executing carve-out readiness, supporting 100-day planning, and facilitating SEC regulatory filings.

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA). Must be able to attend in-person at least three days per week

Salary: $110,400 – $140,760

What you will do

  • Lead teams consulting on complex accounting transactions stemming from mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs.
  • Plan and execute divestiture solutions, including carve-out readiness and operational transition support.
  • Support SEC regulatory filings and facilitate the preparation of carve-out financials.
  • Train and supervise audit associates and interns, providing consistent and regular feedback.
  • Identify market trends to act as a proactive problem solver and adviser to clients.
  • Represent the firm at recruiting and professional networking events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in financial statement audits or transaction advisory consulting.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and SEC reporting rules and standards.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% on short notice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
