What you will do

• Lead the full-lifecycle design and development of bespoke power conversion and transmission solutions.
• Act as Technical Authority for concurrent power projects, managing both in-house designs and outsourced specifications.
• Develop power architectures ranging from 24V to 5000V and powers from 500W to 250kW.
• Design AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC inverters, including motor drives and low voltage converters.
• Direct and coordinate small multi-disciplinary teams to deliver product-focused engineering solutions.
• Ensure system-level integration and testing for robust and reliable power systems.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience in Power Electronics and full-lifecycle development from concept to tested solution.
• Deep knowledge of power transmission (AC/DC) applied to multi-km cabled solutions.
• Expertise in DC converter topologies (Buck, Boost, Flyback, LLC, Full-Bridge) and AC converter techniques.
• Hands-on experience with power switching devices (MOSFET, IGBT, SiCFET, GaNFET) and associated drive circuitry.
• Proven experience working with high voltages up to 5kV and multi-kW power levels.
• Ability to design custom transformers, magnetic components, and implement filter designs.

Nice to have

• Experience with thermal modelling.
• Knowledge of motor design principles and control techniques.
• Embedded-C programming skills.
