What you will do

• Perform advanced simulations for gas turbine combustion systems, including high Mach number environments.
• Apply CFD methods to support combustor aerodynamic design and optimization.
• Contribute to the development of propulsion modules, components, and full systems.
• Use 1D and reduced-order tools for high-fidelity system-level analysis.
• Support engine testing via pre-test prediction and post-test analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• Strong understanding of combustor aerodynamics, thermoacoustic, and combustion fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with CFD tools applied to gas turbine combustion systems.
• Solid grounding in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.

Nice to have

• Experience in concept development for afterburner and ramjet propulsion systems.
• Familiarity with high Mach number combustion environments and scramjet technologies.
• Background in military or defense-related combustion systems.
