TL;DR
Planning Lead (Media Strategy): Leading media planning output for client accounts and developing strategic responses across media, data, measurement, insights, and technology with an accent on advanced comms planning, campaign management, and stakeholder leadership. Focus on creating differentiated solutions, managing senior client relationships, developing planning teams, and solving complex business and media challenges.
Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with teams in the office around four days a week. This is a UK-based role and requires the right to work in the United Kingdom.

What you will do
- Lead planning output for assigned clients and develop high-quality media strategies and responses.
- Translate strategic approaches into media behaviors, plans, and actionable recommendations.
- Use growth sources, measurement, learning agendas, data, and specialist tools to strengthen planning solutions.
- Manage senior client relationships and advise on business objectives, growth opportunities, and campaign KPIs.
- Lead, coach, and develop the planning team through clear objectives, structured reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Build relationships with media owners and create innovative commercial solutions using Wavemaker products and services.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of media planning, media touchpoints, industry developments, and future trends.
- Expertise in campaign management, prioritizing overlapping timelines, and coordinating competing stakeholder demands.
- Advanced stakeholder management, problem-solving, communication, and compelling storytelling skills.
- Ability to develop differentiated media strategies, presentations, and recommendations for varied audiences.
- Experience guiding junior team members and contributing to new solutions, technologies, and applications.
- Must be based in the UK or have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
