What you will do

• Maintain, debug, and optimize the legacy React Planner engine to ensure high availability and security.
• Design and build new reasoning features and capabilities for the next-generation Agentforce reasoner.
• Develop end-to-end scalable services that support thousands of tenants in production.
• Drive system efficiencies through automation, capacity planning, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and AI researchers to productionize innovative technologies.
• Participate in periodic on-call rotations to resolve critical production issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience as a core backend product developer.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with distributed systems and frameworks such as Kafka, Docker, and Spark.
• Basic understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and machine learning algorithms.
• Strong debugging and triage skills with a passion for solving complex bugs in legacy codebases.

• Experience with conversational AI and fine-tuning methods for LLMs.
• Experience developing services for complex business use cases involving large amounts of unstructured data.
