What you will do

• Manage daily regulatory and compliance matters, interpreting and implementing requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support regulatory supervision, surveys, and consultations.
• Draft, review, and submit accurate regulatory reports to authorities.
• Provide advisory support to business and operations on compliance and regulatory matters.
• Plan and deliver compliance induction and role-specific training programs.
• Promote a strong data protection culture and provide guidance on privacy-by-design.

Requirements

• Must be based in Shanghai.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in risk, control, compliance, legal, or audit functions.
• Proven experience engaging with local regulatory authorities and solid knowledge of local banking regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
