Senior Financial Reporting Accountant (Fintech)

What you will do

• Maintain books and records for APAC businesses.
• Review monthly and annual financial statements with regional and global accounting teams.
• Review accounting reconciliations and financial schedules supporting financial statements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and advisors on accounting policies, GAAP interpretations, and internal controls.
• Work with accounting technology specialists to improve processes and deliver team goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and qualified accountant status with relevant accountancy credentials.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including financial statement and account reconciliation review.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory regimes and in-depth knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
• Experience interpreting complex accounting literature and preparing technical accounting papers.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Fluent English required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience in both private and public accounting.
• Experience with accounting and reporting using Workday.
