What you will do

• Maintain books and records for APAC businesses and review monthly and annual financial statements.
• Perform accounting reconciliations and manage financial schedules that support reporting.
• Collaborate with outside auditors and advisors on accounting policy, GAAP interpretations, and internal control documentation.
• Partner with the accounting-specific technology team to improve internal processes and achieve team goals.
• Research and interpret complex accounting literature to prepare technical accounting papers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and professional accounting qualification.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting (mix of private and public preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and comprehensive understanding of legal entity reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be based in Hong Kong.

• Experience with Workday for accounting and reporting.
