Financing Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and support APAC financing capabilities across multiple asset classes and financing structures.
• Optimize financing capacity by improving inventory access, identifying workflow inefficiencies, and reducing costs.
• Collaborate with trading desks on real-time and strategic trading decisions.
• Maintain and develop relationships with prime brokers and other clearing, execution, and financing counterparties.
• Contribute to the long-term financing strategy through expanded financing activity and cost-benefit analysis.
• Build and improve infrastructure supporting financing workflows and initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of securities financing experience at a bank or buy-side firm.
• Strong understanding of Asian market microstructure, financing markets, and stock loan markets.
• Understanding of risk and its consequences in Asian markets and products.
• Strong analytical skills and experience performing technical data analysis.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Experience across multiple asset classes and financing structures.
• Fluency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages.
