What you will do

• Edit social-first video content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Execute creative direction and implement notes from Producers and Creative Leads.
• Perform color correction, audio balancing, and add captions to final edits.
• Maintain organized project files, exports, and delivery structures to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Conduct monthly audits of editing trends to recommend creative improvements for assets.
• Collaborate with account teams to ensure alignment with client goals.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of professional, freelance, or academic editing experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Deep familiarity with TikTok and short-form storytelling conventions.
• Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and comedic timing.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Portfolio or reel showcasing social-first video work.

Nice to have

• Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, or CapCut.
