What you will do

• Execute equity, fixed income, and cash trades, securing favorable terms through optimal broker and system selection.
• Analyze market trends, news, and economic events to determine best-performing products and pricing.
• Recommend and implement updates to internal trading policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Perform monthly compliance reviews and reports to ensure all trading practices align with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct portfolio analysis and research within assigned sectors to recommend new investments or sales.
• Collaborate with street equity research sales teams to share relevant information with Portfolio Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience in security trading.
• Series 65 license required.
• Advanced knowledge of equity securities (including mid and small cap stocks) and capital investment markets.
• Proficiency with computer-based trading systems, especially Longview.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure within strict time frames.
